I have not been writing to you since a long time. Because even if 2014 has been a complicated year for Play Fripp, it has also been filled with rewarding experiences for me.
One year ago, the release of Gregg has not been fruitful as planned, and obligated me to suspend my activities as an independent developer. What seemed like a failure at first, turned out into a tremendous opportunity to work on different projects, and to meet new creative and fascinating people.
Over the months, I taught in various schools, where I’ve been lucky to meet exciting future game creators. I drafted several game concepts, for companies working on projects which were different from those I am used to. During the last six months, I collaborated with a brilliant team, and expanded my sights thanks to each of the encounters that happened there (yes, you the guys at Eden Games)!
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Games gave me the publishing rights of Gregg back. And now that I can start working again on my games, I plan to release it again as soon as possible ; update Wacoon Jump which heavily needs it (still sorry for those who have an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus) ; and launch new projects.
Then here we are, more refreshed than ever I can tell you: “Play Fripp is back my friends!”
